"From the liner notes: Ya'at'eeh. My name is Gene Kinyáánii. I am of "Cliff Dwelling Clan" born for "Water Edge People." I am accompanied by my brother Patrick Hardy, "Deer Springs" born for "Water Edge People."

As I have traveled in life, past and present, these Ceremonial Peyote songs came to me, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally. It strengthened my mind and spirit, able to overcome all obstacles that come from far and near.

With this in mind and in heart, my belief in the holy sacrament grew stronger. I wish to share these songs with good feelings, strength, guidance, and a good future.
