From the liner notes: At this time I would like to express my appreciation and sincere thought to all my relations for being supportive of my album "Good Morning Dawn." My name is DonJay Nelson. I am Salt Clan born for Manygoats. In that way I represent my Dine People. I composed my music with the best of my knowledge of experiencing Native American Church through visualizing and expressing the spiritual elements within the sacred fireplace. In each New Morning Dawn comes with destiny within your heart and mind that vows you to be determined, successful, and happiness is the key to one's life.
